Terms of Service

Effective August 21, 2026

In plain language Create your menu, it's free — no card required, no catch. Don't abuse the AI scanning, don't publish anything illegal, and you're responsible for making sure the menu content (prices, allergens, descriptions) is actually correct before it goes live to customers. Full terms below.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using menuclick.app, you agree to these terms. If you're using MenuClick on behalf of a business, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.

2. The service

MenuClick lets you build and publish a digital menu, reachable by QR code, without a developer or designer. Every core feature — unlimited menus, locations, themes, and team seats — is free. AI menu scanning includes a free monthly allowance; if you ever need more than that allowance provides, additional AI credits are purchasable, mainly as an anti-abuse measure rather than a real revenue expectation from ordinary use.

We also offer custom, bespoke work (a branded ordering app, integrations, dedicated support) on a separate, individually agreed basis — those engagements are governed by their own written agreement, not these terms.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Your content

You own the menu content you create — item names, descriptions, prices, photos, business details. By publishing a menu, you grant us the license we need to host, display, and serve that content publicly (that's the whole point of a public menu), for as long as your menu stays published. You're responsible for making sure your content is accurate, especially prices and allergen information, and that you have the rights to any photos you upload.

5. Copyright / DMCA takedowns

We don't review photos or other content before they're published — account holders are responsible for having the rights to what they upload (see "Your content" above). If you believe content on a MenuClick menu infringes your copyright, send a notice to copyright@menuclick.app with:

We'll remove or disable access to the reported content and notify the account holder. An account holder who believes content was removed in error can send a counter-notice to the same address; repeat infringers may have their account terminated.

6. AI-scanned content

The AI menu-scan feature reads a photo and drafts categories, items, prices, and descriptions — it's a starting point, not a guarantee of accuracy. You review and confirm everything before it's imported; nothing from a scan reaches your live menu automatically. You're responsible for checking the result, particularly prices and allergens, before publishing.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use MenuClick to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

8. Free tier and credits

The free tier has no time limit and no credit card requirement. AI-scan credits reset monthly; unused credits don't roll over. If you purchase additional credits, that purchase is processed by a payment provider — Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, or Polar — see the Privacy Policy for what that involves.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep MenuClick reliably available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service — we may need to pause it for maintenance, and we may add, change, or remove features over time. We'll try to give notice of changes that materially affect how you use the product.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

MenuClick is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including losses resulting from menu content (including AI-scanned content) that turns out to be inaccurate — you're responsible for reviewing what you publish.

11. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the acceptable-use section above, with notice where reasonably possible.

12. Governing law

[Placeholder — to be finalized: which country/jurisdiction's law governs these terms, and where disputes are resolved. This should be set deliberately, ideally with a lawyer's input, based on where the business is incorporated and who the target users are.]

13. Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, let account holders know directly.
